SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page. This is a very commonly used term in the field of internet marketing or online buisiness. SERP Movement
SERP movement refers to the movement of a website's position in the search results. Consider a new website for women's shoes was ranking on 10th page for the search term "Women's Shoes". After the sites owner did some white hat SEO to the site, the site started appearing on the second page of search results. The movement of the sites position from 10th page of results to the second page of results is an example of SERP movement.
If a website is moving upward in the search results, it is called positive SERP movement while a downward movement will be referred to as negative SERP movement.
